The bonnet scoop doesn't look like it's loose?

With a 500bhp engine and a single colour like this, I could live with it.

Yeah but it still looks like its eyelids have been pulled back.

Just noticed the V8. I love it, it's way cooler than an original one, these cars were barried to death back in the day and it's vanishingly rare to see one looking like this.

Remove the bonnet scoop and red wheels and that thing looks quite cool!

Takes me back to when I was a kid... But then again I still think a Ford Orion with full bodykit is quite nice.....

Red one has a certain 80’s charm.

OP’s car has gone full Zender. Never go full Zender.

Just checked - looks like it's never had an MOT ? (Or never had one since MOTs were online) .........

Insurance must be a nightmare.

Question 1. Has the car been modified?

The clue is in the advert: "been dry stored since 2006"

That Punto passed it's mot in August 2015 with only 2 advisories. Had done 117k miles.
Might need a bit of work to pass again.

Mmm, love a Mantzel kit - not sure I’d want a V8 with a slusher attached but I guess you could change that
Very 80s indeed cool

yes The teenage me from 30-odd years ago would have loved that!

I had a Vauxhall Chevette with a 2 litre Fiat Twicam on Webers that was basically a junior version of it.
I had a Chevette with an RS2000 Pinto in it back in the day and I also think that Manta isnt too bad! Sort the interior and a more subtle (!) coat of paint and I’d have it.

Yes, that one would need a bit of work ....but I'd love to end up with a MantzelM4000 Sport cool
