have any threadists owned or driven an elan m100 of any flavour? interested to hear your thoughts as i just bought a pair of them for £800! one kia elan/vigato which has a list of faults as long as my arm and no interior, and an se shell with complete interior but little else. looking for guided inspiration as to what to do with them! pub chat has come up with a b20/b18c engined awd [mk1 cr-v] jdm yo monster but there has to be a sensible plan as a back up, just in case hehe

Never owned or driven one, but this thread would seem to be a good point to start for tips on rebuilding (and a source of 3D printed spares). smile

Not keen on the black wheel centres, and it needs lowering, but otherwise I really like that!

I'm also not too sure about the massive steering wheel. It looks like plastic too.

That was the standard wheel back then, just needs MOMO Prototipo wheel and it will be great.

Do I recall someone posting about a friend of theirs who was looking for commission work on automotive artwork? I thought i bookmarked it but now I can't find it.

Lovely... though the black wheels would have to go.

Pleased to say my 996 sailed through its MOT yesterday... with zero work required. That’s a 1st.

Had the opportunity to see all three of these cars a few years back at the Classic Car show. Stunning in the flesh and with a glamorous history. Stunning and given the rarity (1 of 1, each of them), probably worth every penny. Still a ton of money, but if I had the money, I would be bidding for this amazing piece of history and design.

Anyone remember that high miles GT3 that was for sale a few years back?

IIRC it was LHD and come chap had been using it to travel across Europe for business meetings etc instead of flying.

What did it sell for?

Is this the same car?

It looks like the same car. There was a thread on it here, PH did an article and then the guy that bought it did a thread or readers ride post from memory
