RE: 200mph, 545hp per tonne Ginetta unveiled

It looks all very batmobile-ish in those pic's from the show. I think it has the appearance of a £60k coupe that someone has added a lot of wild time attack car style aero too. I'm assuming that is the kind of modified track car look that they are going for.

What a shame.

Race cars don't have to be pretty and as a result it would appear Ginetta unfortunately think road cars don't need to look good either.

I hope they are right and it sells because by god is it pig ugly.

Well I guessing no one really knows other than the good folks down at Ginetta, as presumably that information isn't in the public domain? I imagine that if you were a potential customer and contacted them directly they might share a few details with you, but otherwise I kind of doubt they will be replying to individual forum posts on the interwebs.

I don't think it is supposed to be a road car. It stinks of a go at the LM GTE category... but to qualify for that 25 cars have to be built, not just 20.

The side view is great the front view seems much more calm with a dark colour.

As per the other thread its a G10 "the ‘Cobra killer’ from the ‘60s that is so staggeringly rare. Dainty and pretty yet packing a small block V8, it looks a wonderful machine".
