I lost interest in it when you couldn't go into a dealership and buy a car with the same shape that had an engine vaguely related to what they were running - but then that's due to the regulations imposed by Mr Gow.

Not for me any more as there is no proper competition..
A class with 2 litre turbo engined cars, where the Ford, BMW, Subaru, Honda and Vauxhall all run engines based on the cars they're from and the rest are vaguely related in that they have 2 litre turbo engine in their range with the exception of the MG which has a 1.8 Turbo and the Corolla new to this season which comes with a 2.0 N/A lump as one engine option.

Out of 30 cars, 3 of them don't have an engine layout/forced induction setup of the type available in the road car.
