An ode to 996 owners when they found they have the same front end as cheap Boxters. Hydraulic steering is better but too expensive so you only get electric. I would hold on to your 997 as would I. I only don’t like the poor gas mileage. I always see 15 mpg on the dash. That’s abysmal but other than that and the loud cabin noise from the tires, a better car than all the models after it. They just don’t make them like that anymore.
