Now that looks great! It looks quite different from the other McLarens, as if it sets the tone for the next phase of the McLaren Automotive journey. I'm not a fan of long front overhangs (e.g. Peugeot 407) but it works quite well for this car. If I ever had the money I would get this GT over a 911 or AMG (second hand of course).

Umm what happened to the 3 seat layout? I thought an unwritten rule was that GT's had more than 2 seats?

Thatta one.

I'd forgotten about that! Partly because there will be only 106 of them at £2.1M each.

I quite like the design but unfortunately it does not really offer much in terms of luggage space etc from what I can tell (or space for my dog other than the passenger seat)

It may have 500L+ of luggage space, but it's an awkward layout that won't fit a medium/large sized trolley, which is what most people will use on a 1-2 week touring holiday.

If you have to buy loads of small soft bags and stuff them everywhere strategically, it kind of defeats the get-up-and-go purpose of a GT.
Ahhh, you missed the USP add-ons for McLaren!

They will of course sell you a range of specially crafted Nappa and Alcantara, McLaren branded luggage that will fill each of those tiny odd shaped spaces, enablling you to get in a second set of undies and a toothbrush to tour Europe. The MSO bespoke luggage option will be eleventy thousand pounds, probably.

Anyway, I bet most owners will have everything sent ahead in the Range Rover and their valet will lay it out in their hotel room beforehand.

Looks nice but looks more like a 570gt facelft as opossed to a new model and exclusive grand tourer.

I'm quite the Mclaren enthusiast but the designs seems to be more of a 570/720 bundled together albewith more room. Certainly not looking forward to further models if the designers don't radically change the lineup and shape.

Get a used 12C (for example mine...) and save the rest of the money, and you enjoy the wonderful hydraulic suspension of the super series.
For comfort perhaps, but many of the reviewers of the original 12C thought the hydraulic suspension was pants from a driver feedback perspective.

I personally struggle to identify with each model they make but in isolation each one looks nice. I hope this one comes with 4wd or at least snow chains or those skis are gonna be useless!

With some MSO bespoke rear fitted luggage that 420L of luggage space would be very useful.

I really quite like that, its got an subtle elegance about it, I know its McLaren serving up broadly the same stuff in a different box as is their MO but I like the toned down look, love the wheels and that copper colour works well in those images.

Still I did see a Purple 720s a few weeks back and not many cars stop me in my tracks like that did.

Finally, a good looking car to follow the P1 - Well done McLaren.

And to think, you can take bags too! That's the kind of car people could use to do things in - miraculous idea.

At last. I look forward to test driving one at some point.

I haven't felt the need to cross the continent by car since the 1990s. Easyjet and Ryanair saw to that.

Don't like that at all. So basically it's a 720S with worse looks and a boot.

I'll take a 812 Superfast
