On a white Chrysler in Southall. Googled it and found a photo...

Googled a little further... he thinks it's a Rolls?

Front brake pads wearing thin for the last 4 tests. Has he braked in the last 4 years?

The Fiesta is double stupid as there never was an RS.
Searched the plate hoping that just maybe it might turn out to be a build where a Fiesta had been converted to RS power with an engine swap, or a tuning package to make it worthy of the badge, possibly even the plate previously being on an FRS but the owner wanted to retain it.

Nope, nothing that exciting. Turns out it was once an innocent Titanium edition that's since been given a partial Maxton "RS Look" body makeover and also had a bit of a hard life since the current owner bought it based on the last MOT it had in 2019. Some nice failures for dodgy tyres, backstreet decat remap, etc.

it's a perfectly reasonable point of view though.

If you dislike Chavs then why do them any favours or put any money their pockets? Unless there's no alternative I take great care to ensure I never do.

Its a bit of plastic with some numbers and letters on it, it really isn't worth getting so upset over.

Its also not worth having to change your plans for the day because you refuse to get in the taxi because of its number plate.

It's the Chav attitude that produces the number plate I object to and not the Chav number plate itself. That attitude isn't just a bit of plastic, it's a entire world of narcissistic, faux materialistic self serving pretentious aspirational behaviour we'd all be much better off without.

Yes, of course I'd get in the taxi if there was no alternative - who wouldn't? The driver would be very disappointed if he was thinking I'd be good for a tip though...

I doubt there would be any conversation as I'd be crouching as low as I could in the back seat fervently hoping nobody I knew saw me. paperbag

Honestly, nobody would care if they saw you in a taxi.
