RA52HER on a van.

I think it's meant to be rasher. It isn't though.

Spotted on a grey Jag the other day. Why do people feel the need to tell complete strangers their name via a number plate?

Based on a recent thread in SP&L, i think it's also known as the "it blew off without my knowledge" look hehe

Funny how its almost always German cars that have front plates blowing off in the wind at very high speeds and rather than being smashed to a million pieces in the gutter end the plate invariably ends up being retrieved in immaculate condition and carefully placed on the dash exactly behind the nearside wiper where it's almost impossible to read.

I notice sometimes when I see this the plates have screw holes in them so obviously the wind manages to undo screws too... rolleyes

A friend of mine described it perfectly: it’s an Ego-w**k.

Insecurity. They are desperate to advertise themselves by whatever means. A plate is the perfect portal.

Ive never had a personal plate and never will, they seem to be a waste of money.

But I have no issue with other people having one if its legal. I dont get the anger that some have for them. I certainly don't start jumping to conclusions as to why they have them.
