The Actual “Poor Man’s Porsche”?
Discussion
Apologies for not delving into the details of the cheese toast I’ve had for breakfast with the family today on our current German holiday location (near the ‘ring I will add to my joy though, the local snaking roads up and down the river valleys are ACE).
Anyway, now that the new ‘base’ 911 has just been released, and the current Cayman still is a much puked upon 2 litre, 4 banger contraption I am wondering how we view the development of the ‘poor man’s Pork’ category. Will it remain to be a thing? Will the category disappear as even the more attainable models are out of bounds for most? Or will the Macan prove to be the future leader of our cherished category?
I’m expecting that the 4 cylinder Cayman will prove to save this category in every possible sense.
