Loving that white Consul (Granada) with its 1700cc V4. 75 hp vs 1200kg.....definitely one for cruising rather than hooning biggrin
It certainly wasn’t made for Sweeney style power slides!

Very Fulvia in the style.

Well, I must say that I have never heard of these until now. What an odd car. It has bits (quite literally in some cases) of all sorts in it. The lights are obvious, but the lines in places echo other cars.

I kind of like it, but maybe not £60k like it. I bet it would be a laugh to drive though. A real oddball, but cool.

There was a collection of classics found in a barn in Suffolk in 2010, which included one of these. I remember the cars going to auction in Bury St Edmunds (I lived nearby at the time) and causing quite a stir.

I'd completely forgotten about the Vallelunga until last month when I pulled up next to one at a traffic light. Really nice in person.

I bid on a Longchamps about 14 years ago at a local auction.
It had a great file and was in cracking condition.
My max bid was £11100.
I lost it by £ 100. I was a little disappointed.

I have been collecting everything De Tomaso since I was a child when I saw a picture in TOP TRUMPS 1977 smile

The Top Trumps price was “about £11000”

I have to say that I like it, probably more so if it had it's bumpers fitted and the original steering wheel in place of that wooden abomination.

Yes, a bit like an SL but more exclusive.
