Although it is a few different shades of yellow (with some green and black thrown in for good measure) the car was originally silver but the colour has been changed to yellow on the log book.

Isnt it just a drift pig with some missmatched panels to replace what I assume was ones that got broke? Not really modified.

The 1.6 powerhouse that it is.

Isn't it an early 110bhp 1.6 rather than the later 88bhp 1.6?

Not modified. 'Send It' sticker confirms my discomfort at McLaren seeming to use it for the launch of their 2021 car.

Perhaps useful as a donor for a kit car if the engine, gearbox and diff. aren't shot?

for something that someone's spent no small amount of time and effort creating that fails quite badly for silly reasons - you think they'd have stretched to a custom bar that followed the cars lines rather than one robbed out a scrapyard. Or cut away the rear section entirely for a dual cab. I guess the rest of its a similar lashup.

Pixels faulty but will probably appear when warmed up. £100 job if they don't.
What? He hasn't warmed it up?
He has a car for sale that he hasn't warmed up and doesn't think it might help sell it if he spent £100 on it.

He's not to keen on offers either.

Clearly he knows what his stock is worth.

This isn't some backyard angle grinder job, but a top quality custom build on an original 1953 Pre A 356 Coupe complete with B pillar semaphore indicators, which pre ruination, would have been worth more than 1/4 million dollars. Build quality looks amazing but as it is a nasty taste aberration, and has taken the life of a poor, innocent 356 Coupe, it deserves to be here...

That’s been for sale for a while. I went and looked at it January 2020. It’s had quite a hard life.

Does not belong on this thread, that is not only exceptionally well done, it's also bloody brilliant.
