It's how many pieces?

I would've called that a 10 piece set as well, 10 tools plus ancillaries/accessories

Although kinda missing the overall point which is that the website is an absolute st show and openly abusing the rules of running a prize draw. I wouldn't give them my money if a draw had 5 minutes left and only sold a single ticket.

Unless I’m missing something very obvious, I don’t understand the outrage at this.

What aren’t I getting?

People won't have bought tool bundles before so wont know how they're listed, its quite obvious if you read the list of what's included how they've come to 10 though

Sorry been an insane weekend; collected the Evo and called in at the Jaguar garage nearby so a friend could poke around an F-Type and we were back there again today so he could test drive a couple biggrin

Evo needs suspension adjusting and a couple of small things sorting but overall over the moon as you'd probably imagine smile Chap I dealt with couldn't have been nicer & they had a whole load of other cars lined up for future competitions too and can definitely confirm there are plenty more nice cars coming soon!

Obliglatory photo with one of its stablemates for the time being, the Integra will probably go up for sale soon as a result of this - amazing car in its own right but completely different to the Evo.

Massive congrats on the win, thats a cool looking driveway now!

I'd probably keep the 'teg sell the Evo after a few weeks/months of enjoying it

That's exactly what I was thinking too, especially if the car is a weekend toy.

I've been hesitant to admit it further afield due to how toxic / jealous some of the comments can get on the facebook page but I'm fortunate enough to have a weekend toy already as a result of a significant amount of man-maths biggrin (Sorry terrible iPhone photo)

Need to give some serious thought but I think short term will be sell Integra and buy a commuter (been meaning to get a beater for a while as office is opening back up 2x a week and 180 mile total daily commute) and keep the Evo for a few months at the very least & go from there. Will almost certainly get another DC5 down the line but might see if can make a Turbo'd or Supercharged one work and even practically stock they're awesome cars smile

Aha, in that case, I'd agree, keep the Evo and sell the Teg.

Can't say I blame you for not mentioning the 360 in the circumstances (re Facebook)

Has anybody sold their car/bike to one of these companies? I wish they were around a few years ago when I sold my 981 Cayman S and Stage 2 Cupra, I'm currently looking to part ex my Kawasaki so just sent Revcomps the details.

Quite. The issue is they couldn't even be arsed to put the description used by DeWalt for that set so on its own it's incorrect...so yeah it just shows how shoddy it is.

Anyway the only thing that actually exists is the picture...

think probably a reference to the FB comments - Often a lot of jealous people or certainly were in the past.

Remember a guy who won an MR2 and a lot of people abused his appearance etc it wasn't on - Jealousy.

Thanks guys smile

Oh totally appreciate that it's not so much an issue here; it's why I'm happy to share - plus most here would understand the desire to want the car over cash alt biggrin Didn't even ask the cash alternative number because I've always wanted an Evo

I'm just cautious because I was lucky enough to win the 208 GTi ~18m ago. When it was delivered I had the Noble out of the garage (was actually trying to sell it to DCG too) and I had a chunk of unpleasant comments made & a few abusive messages on facebook. Very different place to PH though I know smile

Congrats on the win, impressive garage btw.

You also won previously too? Could you tell us mere mortals how much you are putting into the comps on a monthly basis? On the other hand, if you've only ever bought two tickets in your life, perhaps best not to tell us!

Ghostwkd got a driveway of cars I love now! If it was me I’d be keeping the 360 for weekends, probably teg for track days (always liked that shape teg) sell the evo for a sensible daily. Although a red FQ340 was a dream car for a long time.

He had 25 on the Evo, so likely a fair few quid a month! Congratulations, what a great little win!

I've still had no joy on any.
Meanwhile my mate who won an evo from DCG last year has now also won £8k from them last week.
Big spender or just extremely lucky?
I think he puts a fair bit on but nothing compared to most. The £8k was a single ticket haha.

Awesome!! Looks really nice. Still no wins for me bar site credit on DCG/Revs. I’m doing mostly postals bar the odd cheap punt. I have bought a ticket for the red Saab engined Nova though! Sack the t25 for a Saabflight hybrid td04 and that thing will be crazy fast!!!
