Spotted coming up to the Dartford Tunnel a while ago. The car had failed the MOT in 2017 for having missing wheelnuts. I wonder if that's why she was upset?
I've seen this before on the commute....I would guess she's sad from having to use the crossing regularly to be honest!

JD 1 a nice plate on a rather ordinary Peugeot seen last week near Woodstock. I discover JD1 was first issued by West Ham C.B.C. to RP Powell of London E7 on a Reo coach in December 1929, a vehicle last licensed in December 1952.

Issued by Kingston upon Hull County Borough Council in July 1958. Notice how KH stands for Kingston upon Hull. Not counting the current system, I don't think there are any other series that stands for the region it was allocated to (open to correction, off course). The other series allocated to Kingston upon Hull were, AT and RH.

Oh, coincidence for sure, i'd say. So CE is another one for Cambridgeshire and Isle of Ely. Didn't really include G for Glasgow or K for Kent as they're not immediately obvious.

Wow, The non transferable 1 AN's transferable cousin. Sold at auction, September 1996 for £8,201.60 all inc. Bargain!!!
Which part of the UK is this particular Morrison , so?
Definitely a bargain! Pic taken in Stirling. thumbup
Yes... Definitely agree that was an excellent purchase/investment,especially with the infamus"1 AN" deemed "no transferable"
Can I ask why 1 AN is not transferable? I’ve got 81AN and no problems there, had it for 20 years

Someone took the original plate off the car and DVLA issued it a new non-transferable age related plate, which was 1 AN.

Your plate was DVLA Auction number which I presume you bought direct the Auction in January 98 for £5800 + VAT Etc.... 1 AN was DVLA age replacement plate which was issued to the Morris Minor after the Moggys original number was transferred, strange it was issued with such a distinctive plate but never the less now deemed "No Transferable" the reason they have to do that is to stop the same happening again and again releasing old numbers on to the market.read

Maybe.... ? The man himself lives in Wetherby but seems to walk everywhere or driven by a chauffeur and I can't imagine he'd be the type to have a plate anyway....hehe
