I refer you back to my post about the 3 litre s class a few pages ago for the many reasons you may be wrong.

This one is worse. However, both are godawful.

beer i can defend neither cars looks, only their feel. As desperate ironic pastiche that only someone who understands that crass displays of one's poor judgement can gain a form of cultural integrity when magnified by history, both tick the same boxes as a blaxploitation Shaft outfit. Only Shaft can be cool wearing one, but those who choose to wear one every day because they know they can never be cool, well, that's kinda cool...

Certainly, whoever is responsible for that rear spoiler should be publicly executed.

It is our generations jacked up Marina 1800tc coupe with louvred rear window cover, wolfrace wheels, leopard skin seat covers and furry dice....

Is anyone considering booking tickets for the museum at Duxford?

They don't seem to sell out so I was going to book on the day, otherwise something around 1400 seems sensible to me.

The current Miss Stickleback has offered to come along, clearly hoping that I won't say yes because a 6-7 hour round trip to talk and look at first cars and then aeroplanes is as unappealing to her as an hour in Boots is for me.

Brilliant. Trap her into it, it's the perfect test of her tolerance.

She’ll go from ‘current’ to ‘previous’ faster than a herd of a thousand gazelles.

Looks like they know what needs to be done.

All lined up, just the parking brake to take off now.

Been looking at this for hours thinking "but that's a stock wing on it". Then realised the owner lives right by me and I've seen the car so many thousands of times I forgot it isn't.

That is a really nice colour combo. I looked at a car in the same colours 4 or 5 years ago and it was very appealing in the metal. Being located in Liverpool superficially puts me off (sorry Northerners) but - without any checks being done at all - that looks a decent prospective buy to me.

No offence taken; I don’t trust southerners as far as I can throw them.
