Though I don't think I could ever bring myself to buy a car through collecting cars,
I thought their USP was a thin veneer of pompous ste overlaying otherwise "cars" and because Haaaaaaarrrrrrriiiiiiis people were willing to pay a premium.

Then I see they'll take any old ste so long as they get a cut. I mean...

That's a great ad with some fantastic pics.

According to the seller, it has a single left rear heated seat - a Saab quirk for chauffeured cars. I never knew that.

Does look good. Aside from big tax there's not a lot to dislike.

I believe both rear seats are heated, there's just a single switch for both. Not sure what the blank is for.

I like Saabs and very much enjoyed my 9-5 LPT. That one looks good, even in silver.

I am not sure I've seen a Dame Edna estate rear bumper before. What a monstrosity. It's saddening SAAB produced something that looked that bad. Perhaps it's shaped like that to give some 'Aero' function?

A nice cheap mini barge with sensible mileage:

Body work could do with a bit of tidy up but with a long MOT and sensible mileage at £875 I find this pretty tempting.

Message sent... let's see what happens.

A £200 insurance quote has added to the appeal. This getting old thing is useful!

6 large already,. Guess it's such an unusual and desirable spec that the Cat marker doesn't make much difference.
I’m amazed it’s up to that level so quickly.

Whatever we think about the CC team and their business (and I have similar thoughts to others) they do seem to be quite good at selling cars. I’m not convinced an eBay ad would have got the same response.

That ad definitely rings a bell....the pictures did and then the bit about his own workshop and the single rear heated seat. (It's possible I need to get out more).

And here it is...sold on 14th February. Not sure if that link will work as it's from my ended list.

See my previous post. I'm not saying it's dodgy, just that it might be worth asking the question about it selling before. And why it's now up for £1000 more.

Looks like you’re in for a great result rejn; 6 bags already and as many days still to run; the car is wonderful so best of luck with the sale.

I did also spot the E38 750i on CC. Honest ad and looks a decent big bus:

It's a shed. Nice dent in the OSR wing above the bumper line. How's your MoT tester with body rot within X cms of seatbelt mounting points? It's rotten through the front of the rear wheel arches above the cill. I suppose you could gouge it out and fill the hole with aluminium mesh and filler. They also go along the rear of the rear wheel arches in that crud catching lip above the rear bumper. The same model of accords go there too, which is a shame as I quite fancied the 2.2 VTEC model of that Accord.
