Thanks for the kind words all, I have been using an Audi A2 1.4tdi for the past few months and it has got too much.
Commiserations, old (baked) bean - shame you weren't able to cope with the awesomeness of the A2.Just taxed mine again for the year - £30 - and can't remember the last time I put fuel in it. It just keeps going.
Many congrats on the new purchase

Mine's a work hack but I feel guilty sometimes at the way I take it for granted.
Great wee cars.
Don’t get me wrong, I still like the A2 as a model but doing 60 miles a day I didn’t find it comfortable and I miss having abit of go for overtaking etc.Great wee cars.
If I had a slightly smaller commute I would probably buy another one, they feel very modern for 20 year old city car!

You know what; initially I'd have said £5k tops, more so at that mileageBut that colour scheme and it's overall condition; it wouldn't surprise me if it sells for close to asking
There's not many about like that at all!

i'd use it as a daily, what a lovely thing to brighten your morning wafting to work in that.

Nice car, but definitely 'benefitting from' the COVID-tax AND the Bournemouth-tax.

Lol! Who am I to judge? I’m more Primark security guard than police.Nice car, but definitely 'benefitting from' the COVID-tax AND the Bournemouth-tax.
It’s pretty. Expensive. For a 120k car. Still. Pretty. 12 months ago these were 1500- 2500 privately, maybe more for a pretty one on a forum where people wear baseball caps and breathe through their mouths. If you lot want to spunk >thread on it, and keep hoping more scaffolders and other cash trades will be willing to part with more for it in the future, good luck to you. You could be right.
ETA a while ago I posted this cab to, from memory, a sum total of no fks given. I posted it mainly because of the prettiness of the pics. Thread is a curious thing. Had it been purple…

Scanning through FB marketplace and few caught my eye:
X300 for £1500. Doesn't look too bad for the money: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/13521590...
Somethin a bit different from the run of the mill; an 8 Seater yank estate: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/45351711...
Merc W123 looks in pretty good nick but I am not convinced the coloured wheels do it any favors: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/27842554...

That W123 looks in great nick (you'd obviously have to loose the wheels) - clearly had a respray (underside wheel well was never painted in body colour and the sill beneath the rubbing strip was always black) and it's too orangey for the period Signal Red. But the interior is in amazing condition....
How about a bit of grandpa chic JRG / beige. Barely run in. V8 badge geraldry aside, looks neat. Memory heated seats and nav
