I assumed that by 'Far Eastern' Sahja of hd is referring to Chinese luxo-barges.

Thursday. 17.01, school's out, it is the weekend.

Tremendous looking car, but it really wants the V6 if you are going for the full Octopussy effect.
And a Cossack outfit.
I don't remember one of those in the film lol

Now we're talking. Keep your shirt bm, she's agreed I can have hers.

In the same way I would only consider a 7 series because it has a fax machine I would only consider an Alfa because it had a brief case.
Sadly neither option currently appears on the AutoTrader search-o-puter.

I know, I have Autotrader alert email of disappointment every week, along with my other perma-search for W221s with night vision.

I just love 80's automotive design.
There's something just right about the geometries and designers knowing when to leave the drawing board.

That Alfa with fitted briefcase is brill. I never knew it existed. If Rolls can do umbrellas in doors why didn't this take off?

Pre mobile comms so limited opportunity to work on the hard shoulder.

Obligatory petrol forecourt shot and my 1st ever fill up costing more than £100

First impression is, wow .... so quiet compared to my daily, the other Toyota in the picture

No engine/transmission noise, wind noise, can barely hear cars passing in the opposite direction, loudest thing I can hear when cruising along is my mild tinnitus ringing in my ears

Hoping the Lexus is as reliable as my truck as I've got a couple of epic family road trips in the planning stage

All the best with it!

I've done over 10,000 miles in mine. Granted it came to me partly on the basis of work needed (which wasn't needed, but other things were) but it's been great.

I'm sure it's Friday somewhere already:

SL600 with some aweful wheels for 25k:

What's more impressive is the rest of the fleet, a Groẞer 600 and a 190e cosworth with no engine:

An early 600 with the nackenrollen, chrome rear view mirror, extra wood and small hubcaps. No passenger's door mirror, but it looks early enough to have one of the 'triangular' kind on the driver's side. Right hand drive too: very nice!

I really like the front end on that era LS.

I am fond of the XJ. I think this shape is a fantastic looking thing. I love the big sidewall wheels as well.
