Seems to be a bit of a pattern emerging here. In the 2000s, I started and finished the decade with a small, red Fiat and this time a VW, albeit not the same colour.

Started the decade on a high with an MG ZTT400, a Caterham and a VW T4 camper. But doing a house up and the arrival of twins buggered that. Swapped the MG for a Disco2, sold the camper and crashed the Caterham on the way to the MOT, got it fixed and sold.
Then after 5 years got bored of fixing the D2, got a Subaru Tribeca and after a year gave up trying to fix that so got a D4 that I still have.
We got a motorhome too that I sold last year after 8 years as the kids have got big, grumpy and smelly.
Plus a ride on mower... Life's changed!

Integra DC5 got sold Dec 2009
Bought a Honda Civic EG6 SiR-S; just imported from Japan. Sold that, bought a 5th Gen Honda Prelude 2.2 VTi BB8. Decided I'd had enough of that scene (had Honda's and Mitsubishi's since 2003); so bought a BMW E38 728i.... Sold that, bought a BMW E39 530i Sport in Slate Green; that got sold, bought an MG ZT V6 190 to see me 'over winter'. That soon got sold and bought another BMW E39 530i Sport in Sapphire Black. Got bored with that, sold it and bought an E65 730D Sport in Le Mans Blue and then that went; and now in my 20029 E39 530i Sport touring

I began the 2010s with the 123d I bought because I was getting a car allowance and business mileage.
But by 2014 I had left that job and got a lump sum taking a pension early so I bought my first Z4 Coupe.
But as that was never going to work as elderly parent transport I bought a cheap Mazda 323F.
But while it was cheap it was also miserable so after 6 months I replaced it with this.
In 2015 I got a big bill from my Z4 Coupe and agreed to sell it, but when I realised what I had done I had to buy another in 2016
My E46 325ti was getting tired, so in 2018 I replaced it with an E91 325i.
But it seemed a bit gutless so in 2019 I replaced it with this E90 330i.
Then in December 2019 I replaced my Z4 Coupe with a Z4M Coupe.

First car - chav car - sensible car
Ka 2014 - 2016 - my first car, loved it even though it was a bit st, and everyone laughed at it.
Chav Corsa 2016 - 2018 - The Ka had a bad MOT, it passed but it had many advisories, MOT man said it would cost more than it's value to be put right. The Vauxhall dealer next door was doing a scrappage scheme, Ka got sacrificed. The Corsa isn't as bad as people think, it's slow but it's refined, comfortable, well equipped. My Dad's E-Class at the time got involved in a small accident and he got a Fiesta courtesy car, I had a go in it and genuinely preferred the Corsa. With work my mileage was going up and I decided to go diesel which leads to my current car. Next owner of the Corsa did the normal Corsa thing and wrote it off
Sensible Astra 2018 - present - Comfortable, reliable, full of equipment and good value. When looking for a sensible car for work it's perfect. It's done hours on the motorway with ease, and with me feeling relaxed at my destination.

Brucey bonus - in 2019 I drove the Route 66, I think a special mention needs to be added for my Dodge Challenger hire car. I loved driving the challenger, it was a little thirsty, not ideal for 5,000 miles but I'm so glad I did it in this car.
