Mk1 Focus RS (bought in '06 - still own today)
205 GTI (bought in '08 - still own today)
Saxo VTS - track car from '09 to '12 at which point it became clear rust had set in around the rear sills and it wasn't worth repairing, as it was worth far more in the value of the modifications attached to it, so it was broken for spares / sold as a rolling shell.

I am jealous of the fact yours has a sunroof! It seems to have been a rare option, and it's the one box I wish the original owner of my E90 had ticked.

I really like this era of the Corsa. I don't know how they are to drive but the design is spot on.

In the following order:

Audi A4 Avant 3.2 (06 plate I think)
Lexus IS-F (08)
MB C63 6.2 estate (14)
Volvo XC90 D5 (66)
MB C63 6.2 estate (63)
How do you rate the IS-F compared to the C63's
Very highly. The following is comparing unmodified/standard cars, the main reason for changing from the IS-F to the C63 was the fact the Lexus is a four seater and the rear seats did not fold. The C63 is the slightly quicker car overall.

Both my C63s had/have 18” wheels so ride is better than the IS-F on 19” wheels but later IS-Fs had much improved ride quality.

Exhaust note - no contest - C63 sounds better (but the IS-F has a nicer intake sound when the the second stage intake opens up around 3700ish rpm).

Brakes were absolutely immense on the IS-F, IS-F gearbox not as bad as some reviewers claimed (although the Merc multiclutch didn’t exactly get rave reviews - I had no issues with either as I wasn’t tracking them).

Fuel economy (do you really care if you’re considering one of these?!) noticeably better on the IS-F. Best I had on the IS-F was 29mpg; best on the C63 25mpg - comparing similar journeys.

Servicing costs lower on the Lexus, no reliability issues and none on the C63s either although by all accounts the Lexus will be the more reliable. Lexus dealers light years ahead of MB in terms of customer service.

The IS-F felt slightly better built (and no creaks or squeaks from the interior unlike the odd one from one of the C63s) and the Lexus felt more stable than the C63 on the Autobahn at speeds upwards of 120mph.

Overall, it’s a difficult decision, you can’t really go wrong with either but the C63 just edges it for me with much better sound from the (standard) exhaust and the added practicality of the estate.

If you have any more questions, happy to answer.

I had my E46 325ti until 2011 and then I went into the company car scheme...

I had a 1.2 Clio pool car for a few months
Followed by a Fiesta pool car

2011 Fiesta Zetec S diesel was my first company car if my choosing.

2013 I bought my other half an E90 330 (starting to hate the Fiesta now)

2015 it was time for a new company car; Octavia vRS much to all of my colleagues amusement but it turned out to be a great car.

2016 we swapped the 330 for a new MINI Cooper because my other half was cheesed off with the fuel consumption of the 330.

2019 I left the company car scheme because the tax implications were getting punitive and bought an M140i.

In 2019 we also got rid of the MINI about bought a cheap 116 from the in laws for my other half. This went a fe weeks ago and was swapped for a 125i cabriolet.

After 7 years of C43's I bought this in 2010. My wife was so impressed by the 7 seats that she didn't notice it wasn't a diesel until it was way too late. Ran it for 7 years, barely missed a beat.

Then in 2007 I came across a unicorn; a 212 with the 5.5. Best car I've ever owned, no idea what will replace it. It's only just ticked over 70k miles so I guess I'll just hang on to it.

Started the decade with a Mk5 Golf GTD170 and a Mk5.5 Escort RS2000. Then
Mk7 Golf R (Lapiz blue manual 3-door. Excellent despite what all the know-it-alls on PH say)
Mk2 Golf GTI (bought on a whim, had a bit of work done, hardly use it)
Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (epic, no idea how to top it for a daily)
