I thought about making this thread the other day, funnily enough, off the back of seeing a Denim Blue Volvo XC40, which is a really smart colour. Reminded me of when I saw another Volvo out and about that was a really nice light grey, flat sort of finish, which looked really nice.

Jaguar’s Caviar Metallic. Not sure if it’s brown, red or what, but I think it looks absolutely excellent.



MG Rover’s British Racing Green pearlescent, very smart, especially in sunlight.

Any baby blue shade gets my vote.

French Racing Blue is a great shade, as well as my Mustang's Grabber Blue colour.

Too bold a colour for that sort of use - you want something more in this colour for the ram raids & bank jobs...


Good colour to make progress at the Ring though - it should be easily visible in your mirrors

Even in the e85/86 Z4 colours you've got Monaco, Montego, Maldives, Toledo, Midnight, Interlagos, Carbon Black (black with blue).
