You know what you are right. I have been (uncharacteristically) grumpy as of late, and my comment does make me seem like a bit of a dick. I will leave it up as a warning to others to think before they post, something I have taken time to ask others to do in the past, hypocrite that I am. Doesn't the vast majority of insurance specifically exclude damage on tracks? I would imagine any that doesn't is rather pricey, particularly for a full on track special like this.

It does make me wonder the percentage that would be driven regularly on a road, driven regularly on a track, or spend most of its time in collection and barely used. At this price is this even an investment car?

Yeah, I know, typical PH comment moaning about price and I'm usually of the opinion that these sort of creations are actually reasonably priced for the amount of man hours, but I really can't get past that many hundreds of thousands for what it is.

I usually despise these types of posts on PH... but I find myself heavily agreeing with you on this one...

Yeah, I think that's absolutely the case, and it's fairly irrational and unfair for me to single this out. I guess I perosnally see myself using an Eagle or a Singer more, or one of Alfaholics creations.

In this case, I just struggle with the concept and the car. Does anyone want a GT3 car that's road legal, and at that price, do they want it over the Senna? Why a GTR, a car that (in my eyes) is synonymous with 4WD?

I guess everyone has their point where they say "actually, no, that's a bit much for me", and in my case, this is it. I guess I felt that so strongly I needed to post a load of moany PH cliches

Its all fantasy garage stuff for me and likely to remain so, but that interpretation of the GTR, gutted to 1350kg, rwd, 650hp or so would definitely be in my fantasy garage, but yes, we are all different, even in our dream cars!!
