Looks as though the driver was trying to make a point (dramatically) of her hogging the lane. A bit OTT but frustration builds on UK roads with this sort of daily incompetence. So she's sent off to do a nice little educational course while he's banned for a year and picking litter for 100 hours. No wonder people lane hog really. Here's another one, no cyclists this time. Therefore, it is not your job to enforce the law. Yes, MLMs are annoying and the buggers are everywhere, but it's not our job as drivers to attempt to 'punish' them. Just drive round them and pull back in. Maybe submit dashcam footage to the police of particularly irritating MLMs, but nothing more.

Ridiculously over the top penalty for getting frustrated behind a bad driver.
No - she flashed him, so he tried to squeeze her into the central reservation. Clearly deliberate. The undertake probably wouldn't have raised an eyebrow by the plod - it was the second manouever that got him done.

There has to be a deterrent for this type of driver otherwise they will carry on doing things like that and will eventually cause a collision. The standard of driving from the the person in the Land Cruiser was shocking and dangerous! If they had simply undertaken and carried on their way then I am sure they would not have been reported, but they chose to dangerously intimidate the other driver so fully deserve to be punished.

Unfortunate timing and circumstances rather than st driving.
Elevation change or the Caterham? moving left causes Porche to lose it on tricky high speed section of the Nurburgring. Difficult to say without seeing it from the Porche's perspective and those that have driven it will have a better idea. Not the ideal spot to overtake at high speed going by other footage. Porche stays on all four wheels to remain relatively intact, had it rolled over however...

Was that a porsche engine trying to show it wants to be at the front, while all the sophisticated control elements were trying to tell it otherwise?Elevation change or the Caterham? moving left causes Porche to lose it on tricky high speed section of the Nurburgring. Think that was the little hump on the left there, that accident was happening from a long way back before the Caterham moved at all.
I did wonder if there's less of a transition on the rh side of the track and had the Caterham not been present then the Porche could have continued without drama. I could be mistaken but I think I've seen a bad one there previously involving a lone Mercedes SLR.havoc said:

I can see why the guy got wound up, I was in lane one and sailed past a van in lane three doing 60-65. As soon as I went past, his orange hazard light was flashing, fogs on, frantic flashing of the headlights. I literally sailed past him and yes it wound me up but you're not going to change morons like that. Also doesn't justify endangering anyone!

At the end of the clip - quick glance to the left, yeah he is probably fine. Yep, looked as if the Porsche driver had lost it before coming into view. Be interesting to see where exactly that happened.
Lead up to Schwedenkreuz, well known as one of the trickiest parts of the track. Extremely fast entry, some gradient in the braking zone, narrow, and you MUST have the car settled and under power when you turn in otherwise more often than not you're having a painful & expensive off. Looks like the Porsche dropped a wheel on the grass before it reached the Caterham - which was very lucky for the 7. If you're going to make a mistake on the ring, do it anywhere but there....Alex_225 said:
Agreed, he could have sailed past her and carried on his way thinking, 'what a d!ck sitting in lane three for no reason'. As I often do on the M4 and M25!

Similar thing happened to our son today, NSL car in lane 1 doing 40, so he pulls out to pass, the dork pulled out into lane 2 still doing 40, a roundabout was approaching, so our son sat in lane 2 until just before the roundabout.I can see why the guy got wound up, I was in lane one and sailed past a van in lane three doing 60-65. Chopped to lane 1, crossed over the roundabout and the dork crossed as well still in lane 2, as my son pulled away up to 70 same some dork stil in lane 2 doing around 40, why do they do it.......
