Hasn't the body got to be lifted off these to carry out any major gearbox/engine work?

Nope, the L322 is a monocoque, your thinking of 1st gen RR Sport or Disco 3 & 4.

Why can't the person who wrote this article correct their errors!?!

Is the PH CMS so ancient that it can't correct a headline?

Article is referring to the Straight six engine, yet has a title that reads TDV8?

The 4.4TDV8 was introduced in 2011 ad the 3.6 was 2007 on.

I'm on my second L322 and they are great cars, but do cost a lot to maintain. My new sidesteps are being fitted tomorrow and thats on top of new tyres and suspension sensor last month.

I'm sure there is more to come as well.

Inaccuracies aside, there must be better L322 shed choices over one that absolutely screams AVOID.

Everyone I've ever known who's owned one of these had to have a 2nd car that worked.

Pretty much this biggrin

Wife has 2015MY Ford Mondeo Estate. However, that is the only car that has left me stranded in the last 15 years.

I'm glad I had a 2nd car when I had the Cerbera too, and I would've been screwed otherwise in fairness.

I love Range Rovers a lot, but I've never been quite brave enough to dip my toe in though.

There aren't words to describe how stupid anyone would have to be to buy this!

TD6s make no sense now TDV8s are down to nearly the same money.

2007-on with the facelift interior has masses less issues than the more BMW-oriented cars which are legion with suspension and electrical issues. Biggest issue with the TDV8s is turbos, but at shed money you don't worry about such things.

Mine is an excellent car, I really struggle to think what else to replace it with.
