“Most driver-focused sports car we’ve ever made”

“Eight speed automatic gearbox”

Don’t think so.

Why does the rear of the car with the hardtop on remind me of a stormtrooper helmet?

As others have said, this is one fugly looking car, definitely has a strong element of "lashed up" about it.

Front is awful, they say all new but hard to notice when they have used the same styling since 1940

Price wise is punchy with other choices

Just never understood Morgan's

Love it without the hard top - looks great.

Not so sure with the hard top on - it's a bit 'Noddy' esque...
Yep. Been trying to see why this is. It looks like the angle of the hardtop is steeper than the angle of the rear below the hardtop.
Doesn't do it any favours IMHO...

Phenomenal car and brilliant live unveiling on Youtube. Great to see Morgan doing a great job moving into 2025!

The older Morgans have grown on me but this is a bridge too far. The hard top looks awkward and that face at the front... I'd have to pass.

I thought it they’d resurrected Dark Helmet from Spaceballs

I'm all for trading on your heritage but this is hideous; they need to employ some better body designers...........

I'd much prefer an earlier Plus 8.
Modernising the traditional looks just leaves it looking awkward.

Looks brilliant to me and light and fast as well.
But, for me, no manual means no interest in actually owning one.

That is utterly, utterly hideous.

I used to think Morgans looked awful...

I’m not convinced. The colour is awful and trying to fuse old and modern makes the look incoherent in my view. I want to love it but I can’t.

I’ll take one without the hardtop and with all the chrome bits stuck back on.
