Though it retains the Lincoln's 7.5-litre V8 (don't get too excited though - it only manages 219bhp),

Oh hang on........
Ive seen this heap of crap. It was doing a promo stunt for "the noise next door" (a s
t, now defunct boyband) in Glasgow. It was going to drive to the front of the HMV in town and was parked round the back of the Tesco I was working in at the time for the boy band duo to get into and be driven round the corner. It took them ages to get it to start as the engine was totally f
ked, it sounded awful, belched smoke everywhere and was burning oil. The body work was awful too and was scrathced to buggery. Its been for sale for years too.

It's all wrong but what I can't get over is if you're going to all that trouble, why not do it right?
Cos the original one was based on a Futura that cost $250k when new?leon9191 said:

Why does hp/ltr matter?
Because The Riddler will take some catching?
This is the page to look at if you're making a Batmobile replica, not a freeze-frame from the 1970s Batman cartoon... clicky
A better quality replica of an old film car: here
Or this one.

When I did my Christine replica I spent hours and hours watchin the film, gettin every little bit right.
It's only when you do this that you realise you have to make compromises. Because most of the time, in a film, what we think of as "A" car is really "A few" cars. All with little differences.
So you have to compromise somewhere.
But then, with something like the Batmobile, if you can't get it as near as dammit then don't do it.
