Why do people get so excited every time they see a Veyron?
God, it's like an obsession... There's more interesting cars out there..
For some, and not for others. I get excited when I see a Morgan, but some may not. It's called being an individual. A Bugatti is a rare car indeed... Ive never seen one in upstate NY. I get excited when I see an MGB as well. God, it's like an obsession... There's more interesting cars out there..

All things are relative. This week I was very excited to be being driven through London in a rather lovely old Ferrari (as in £2m-quidsworth of rather lovely), but became further excited by the Maserati Quattroporte III going the other way. Maybe I'm weird...God, it's like an obsession... There's more interesting cars out there..

This site is getting like Top Gear, where unless it is flashy and expensive it is to be derided.

I agree. Technically brilliant but as much soul and character as a discarded fridge (especially in chrome) God, it's like an obsession... There's more interesting cars out there..
Nice to see, but certainly not that exciting to me....each to their own though, dull world if we all liked the same thing.
Hello OP, i have only seen one Veyron in the flesh and that was on a stand at a car show, i don't live in a metropolis and see them every day on the road so pics of them being used are always good to see. They will all be in museums or storage in a few years so make the most of seeing them out and about.
'kin hell great advert for the forum guys
Nice pics OP, I've never seen a Veyron in the flesh and would enjoy doing so, it's just another tick on the list
Don't let the haters put you off it's not always like this...a lot of the time but not all the time
To whoever said it's getting like TG and if it's not flashy it doesn't get mentioned, are you reading the forum? I see as many bangernomics/mx5 etc threads as I do exotics

Good to see the same posters resorting to name calling.
The interesting thing (to me anyway) is that there are actually a fair few of these threads and a lot of people, myself included, have seen Veyrons "in the wild"
I don't ever remember seeing am F40,F50 or an Enzo, or a McLaren F1 anywhere, despite them all being much older and more having been built (I believe, so far at least) while I've seen the big VW 3 times.
Is it just that owner are using them a lot more, more have been sold here/western Europe or am I just forever falling over them?

While I agree that ( for me they lack soul) I'd love to have a play in one.
OP thanks for they pics, don't be put off PH by negative comments.

I think part of the appeal of this particular sighting was the fact that a Bug was spotted in the car park of East Midlands Airport - incongruous to say the least. This would be part of the reason for posting - a car that seems out of place in it's surroundings becomes a little more interesting for some.
I saw a Revere Range Rover Sport today - not that unusual for many, but certainly a rarity in Torquay, which is not renowned as being home to too many footballers! So, a fairly rare car in an unusual setting - it stood out to me, as did the Bug for the OP.
I wouldnt have started a thread about the RRS, but I would have done if I had seen a Bug in Torquay for sure - though I did see an R8 Spider the other day, which is almost the equivalent down here!
