Why do people get so excited every time they see a Veyron?

God, it's like an obsession... There's more interesting cars out there..
I agree. Technically brilliant but as much soul and character as a discarded fridge (especially in chrome)

Nice to see, but certainly not that exciting to me....each to their own though, dull world if we all liked the same thing.
So if you were offered a drive in one you'd say no?
While I agree that ( for me they lack soul) I'd love to have a play in one.
OP thanks for they pics, don't be put off PH by negative comments.
I've had the opportunity to passenger and it wasn't taken. I'm not going to say I like it when I don't I'm afraid, much like I can't tell you not to.

As stated before, it's a marvellous feat of engineering, but it's not for me and I don't spend hours looking at them when the opportunity arises. Sorry.

Because they're £1million cars? Not many of them about! Plus I think they're stunning, both visually and from a technical viewpoint
They're 800k cars, not million pound cars.....

So would you mind if I went out and took pictures of every stunning car I saw and started a thread about it?

Lets set the bar at a purchase price of £500,000, keeps the chavs and footballers wagons at bay.

Price doesn't represent beauty.

As is proved with the Veyron...

No need to be sorry, it's not a car that I would want to own, however I would like to have a go in one.

I'm with you mate, this obsession with spotting and then photographing Veyrons is just boring now, are people lives really this empty.

Oh and to the OP, Hi, it's nothing personal, I'm just fed up with peoples obsession with Veyrons.

I've gotta say that if you're both so fed up of people posting photo's of supercars especially Veyrons on a motoring forum then don't bother reading the thread said pics are posted on and then post negative comments.

There's enough crap and vitriol on many other threads you can contribute too.

BTW some great pics, cheers OP and everyone else
I agree. (It's even in the thread title, making the thread very easy to ignore).

Here is a pic I took of this particular Veyron along with the other Bug:
I prefer the standard one TBH, looks good in that colour combo (not something I say about most veyrons, although I appreciate the car and technology and engineering the shape doesn't do a lot for me....)
It's not the most radical of car designs but I really am a fan of the overall tidy shape of it. Rather subtle in spite of the immense performance it is capable of.
Agreed...again you've found a good picture. I'm always surprised at how small they are in real life too, especially considering it has a 16cylinder engine.

oh...only 45inches tall (which is very low) and about the same length as my E36 3 series. OK they are a bit wide (6foot 5inches), but that still makes it slimmer then an XJ220, for example.

As I say, for the performance and engine it seemed small to me. They are Gallardo sized, but with double the power.

Of course you are, but your post was an (indirect) dig at the OP, despite your claims to the contrary.

The thread had "Bugatti Veyron pics" in the title. What was it that made you decide to click on the thread title and read more?

My post was in no way a dig indirect or not at the OP.

I just wanted to express my view that there are more cars out there than a Veyron and whilst it may excite some people it does nothing for me, and I find the whole hype around them boring.

I open many threads whilst on this site, and opened this one, I then read Skylines comments and wanted to agree with them.
Now if I have satisfied your self appointed moderators remit, kindly jog on.

For fks sake, are you really arguing over whether or not it is PH to post a pic of a Bugatti Veyron. Grow the fk up.
