Anyone remember Revs magazine?
Discussion
Does anyone know if old articles exist online? I know the mag got canned a few years ago, but the "trace your old car" thread prompted me to have a bit of a search around for my old MG Metro Turbo.
I took part in a Mk2 photoshoot/feature for aforementioned mag, probably in 97 or thereabouts, hence the thought about Revs.

I certainly remember it - it started off pretty well and they did some good articles such as :-
the cheap E30 325i, XJ6 and Saab 9000 Turbo they bought to go to the South of France in
buying old performance cars of a similar price bracket and putting them up against each other, on the dyno and on the road with the help of the GT driver Dave Clark.
There's at least one of the ex-staffers on here occasionally

Was a great mag in the day, at it's prime when Simon Hargreaves was Editor. Loved the one make track days, such as cossies, gti-r's, integrales etc.
They also did good group tests, like 6k rear drive turbos, 5k hot hatches etc, and some good tech features.
Then some plank decided to focus on Corsas with huge bodykits & dodgem paint jobs, and ruined the mag totally.
Shame, was a good mag.

Yes, I think they saw the market share "Max Power" was getting and went after some of it.They also did good group tests, like 6k rear drive turbos, 5k hot hatches etc, and some good tech features.

Yep the Saab went pop after a little fettling i seem to remember.
I echo the comments others that it was great until it followed its stable mate Max Power.
The staff challenges were always a good read such as the trip to the south of France and Hot hatches for under a grand, some would say a forerunner to the Top Gear Challenges.
If it was still going and in that format I would still buy it!
