"The ad says "the engine is a very late 2001 3.4 dual row ISMB motor, so much less prone to bore score than the 3.6 and with the best factory IMSB."
.....but it is a 3.6. Ooops!

The price is a bit punchy for a 148k mile car.
Slightly blinged but easily reversible tidy 996 3.4 non sunroof going through Anglia Auctions. High miles but has had a new engine 70k ago.

What is the deal with black bonnets on silver 911s and Boxsters? I have seen quite a few but am at a loss as to what is being copied/to achieve, is it a colour scheme from a special Porsche or something?

My recent purchase. A 996.2 C2

80k miles with full documentation service history. All the main jobs that need doing on these have been done, including a full suspension refresh at Centre Gravity some years ago. Absolutely loving it and my foray in to Porsche ownership.
Lovely looking car, I’m not a fan of black wheels unless it’s on a red car & that has it perfect. 80k miles with full documentation service history. Cheers, I’m of the same opinion. Very rarely would I consider black, (these are actually grey centres) and I ended up having to have all 4 wheels refurbished prior to collecting the car due to needing a new rear alloy, and decided to do something different after seeing a guards red GT3 with this colour scheme. Really pleased with the outcome. Just wanted to thank folk for the advice they gave on the car below yesterday.
A mod removed every single reply even though 1 in particular contained very good advice for everyone. Apparently my post broke commandment no6. Which is fair. However, I don't think clumsily removing all the replies merely offering advice was fair or helpful to anyone.
