I've heard a rumor that there may be some form of 'RS Touring' type thing, but I don't really understand how that would work with no 'frunk'. I guess there would be a cage delete so the rear could be used for storage.
Cars for North America have no roll cage, but the non-folding seats still make loading tricky. There is apparently another variant , ( the ST??) coming that will be somewhat more touring but I have only heard rumours.jh001 said:

An RS Touring won't have a cage and would need softer springs to tour in.throt said:
RS Touring , behave ! Lol
I wasn't saying it would be called a 'RS Touring' I was told, by someone who I consider to be relatively well informed, that it would be loosely based on the RS and called an ST as RDMcG said previously. Not saying it's going to happen 100% but who knows? As I understand it, the ST is happening (part of the 'Heritage' line of cars) and it will be loosely based upon the GT3 RS - engine, perhaps some of the adjustability and other improvements etc., but obviously minus the aero and cage etc.
I'm passing on the 3RS for a chance at the ST... (was offered one or the other).
