FYI the White RS' in the Instagram above is actually Ice Grey Metallic which is the launch colour. The non WP RS with Red Wheels as shown previously when AP showed it to the press is also Ice Grey Metallic. Its a sparkley bright metallic white in the metal which makes the lines of pretty much any Porsche look its best IMO.
I saw all the above cars today in the flesh, hammering round Silverstone.. also had the chance to get up close and personal with the original Ice metallic Grey with Red decals and red wheels..
On Circuit the cars were actually reasonably quiet, most were chasing 992 GT3’s down which were lead cars.. it could be quite possible but they didn’t have the exhaust valves open. I’m still suprised it doesn’t have a titanium exhaust like previous RS
I do have to say it’s a huge beast in the flesh! Way too much to take in with all the aero spats and flicks! The wing….. it does lol better in the flesh, honestly..
100% needs a dark colour as the sheer amount of Black plastic

There wasn't any part of the previous gen RS in Titanium including 991.2GT3 RS WP or Speedster as all GT cars fitted with ITBs and GPFs have the new 10kg lighter SS exhaust with no Ti. I'm not sure I agree with only dark colours which suit it as the colours would clash with the huge expanse of black plastic.
In non WP guise it looks great in plain old Guards Red and even better in Ice Grey Metallic with Red/Blue wheels.
WP cars looks at their best in lighter colours like the Ice Grey or if PTS then Signal Yellow always works. A bright colour distracts from the plastic parts imo
Still no Ring time which is rather odd....

I wouldn’t expect an N’ring time until after the press drives…that is if they have actually achieved their target yet anyway. In non WP guise it looks great in plain old Guards Red and even better in Ice Grey Metallic with Red/Blue wheels.

My understanding is that they did have a few attempts but nature and conditions conspired against them…
I’ve seen an onboard lap today also, following pace 992 GT3… not earth shattering… in fact, I went much faster in my 981 GT4… so not representative of the extremities if the car.. probably just the limitation of that particular driver in the car.

I also saw this and I agree he seemed to be either cruising or maybe just showed footage of a warm up lap or a cool down. Silverstone is the perfect venue to show off the 992RS in its best light, however will the press will allowed to take it on some of the rougher uneven B road in the locality. Methinks not !My understanding is that they did have a few attempts but nature and conditions conspired against them…
