Crikey...tough crowd on here!

Amethyst Metallic anybody?!

That’s lovely.

I think my wife would approve my acquisition of one of those if I wanted to swap my 2010 one and I was worthy of one in Porsche’s eyes both of which are highly significant obstacles.

Love it though... and excited for you guys getting one soon, keep the pictures coming.

It looks like the Touring will be an option pack again rather than a model in its own right as some suggested:

Porsche UK configurator said:
Additional info for "LED Main Headlights in black with Matrix Beam including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus):

Differentiated look includes:
- daytime running light trims in Black (matt)
- decorative ring in Dark Chrome
- reflective ambient speedlines
Function and geometry as the LED main headlights with matrix beam including PDLS Plus

Note: offer for 911 GT3 with Touring Package only in conjunction with the option ‘Touring Package exterior in Black’ (order no. 04S)

Bit of wait if allocations won't go into build until 2022, unless there's capacity that's been held back?

Looks good in Agate. Will still push for a PTS slot, though

Now that is a car I'd love to own, and likely keep for an eternity

The reason we tend not to take our winged GT3 touring is because of how noisy the cabin is, not because it has a big wing. Were 991.2 touring's any quieter than regular GT3's. Do they have more sound insulation?

We are away in The Cotswolds this weekend and I'm not being allowed by the other half to take the GT3 because it's "too noisy", it's only a two hour journey, we are taking a 150bhp Tiguan which is a lot quieter but a lot less fun.

Note that I don't think my GT3 is too loud, my partner does.

I'm on the list for an allocation next year hopefully. I'm pretty much a nobody though so fingers crossed.

Sorry, I meant upgrade the 'other half' to someone who won't complain about the noise.

I have suggested he wear noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs which would have the additional benefit of me not having to talk to him but the idea wasn't well received.

Maybe 992 GT3 Touring might be the better option!

Well I must admit to being a little luke warm so far with the 992. However, that Touring looks the dogs! Reckon it would look great in Gentian. Dark colours seem to suit the 992 better. Those wheels set it off nicely too.

do you think that the painted front section will be offered as an option on the non-Touring?
