A Targe deserves a bold colour the “targa hoop” and roof break up the colour so you can get away with it more than on a coupe IMHO. Forest or Jet Green....or any of the dark green’s would look fantastic.

Morning Buddy,

Also think theses greens would look good on the 992 GT3 .

What was the Jaguar Green, "Racing Green" ?, maybe

Just not with those alloys ... smile

As mentioned, I suspect black is the way it will end up going. Its then just a decision as to whether to go full on black, ie black hoop and alloys, or whether to go silver hoop and alloys to break it up a bit.

Head says latter, heart says former.

Agree on the wheels above, this was my first 991.2 Targa 4GTS Black with Silver roof bar.

Personally, not keen on the silver hoop with black wheels (no offence meant).

Where do you think the prices of these will be? Local OPC will take my deposit for one now and confirmed same timeframe of March announcement and July delivery, but i’m trying to work out what these will be in terms of premium over Carrera S.

I’ll likely go for the GTS if I keep being told no for a Cayman GT4, not as good a track weapon but probably better all rounder i suppose.

I'd hazard a guess around 120k list, so around 25k more than a coupe 's'

For the Coupe? 991.2 GTS was under £100k, so that would be a stretch. what are you expecting for your Targa?

My black one above March 17, was 128k, Same spec in 992 I would think around 15k more.

I'd be gets coupe to be arou d 105k, 4GTS coupe to be around 110k and 4GTS targa to be around 120k, pre options.

I’d say you are right. Add about 10k for ‘necessary’ options.

Latest thoughts are crayon as the colour of choice as suits the 992 and breaks up the black hoop and alloys.

If anyone’s planning on px’ing their 991.2 Targa GTS or S for a 992 Targa please pm me before accepting a dealer offer.

I just missed out on 15k mile 991.2 Targa 4S with a great spec that was up for £75k from a private seller buying a 992. I guess OPC offered c£70k as px?

Slighted annoying, and off topic, whilst waiting for the 992 Targa I was looking at purchasing a 4GTS Coupe as a 'fill in'. I put an offer in on one around 6.30pm yesterday at JZM (by email) and then chased them at 2pm today to be told they had sold it to someone else. Not even a call about it last night, after a number of emails between us up to 5.05pm prior to me putting forward the offer.

To be fair they had gone home by then and, I am guessing, your offer was not the asking price and they had a better one in the wings. And dealers are often wary of email dealings - too many tyre kickers.
Still annoying when a good one gets away though. Good luck with the hunt.

Appreciated they had gone home, but managed to sell to a.n other despite that fact.

Re price, my offee was around 2k under asking and was done by email as had sent them some other info.

Just annoys me I didnt even get a call pr email until I chased them up and the reply came it had been sold to a 'longstanding client'. I dont profess to be a previous client of theirs, never mind a long standing one, but I do know that at the start of any longstanding relationship there would have been an initial purchase/sale.

Anyway.... lifes too short and there are other cars out there.
