I don’t believe there was any April shutdown. I read somewhere they scaled back on other models and went full steam with the 911. Does seem to be a lot of 911 coming through! Mine is currently on the boat and should be collecting on the 20th of May! Nervous about going Carmine 😂!

Apologies for the poor photo but the car was still pre-prep so didn’t bother getting more. No doubt there will be better ones early next week smile

It’s fair to say it looks fantastic in real life. It was quite overcast when taking the photo but it looks greener in person, and no doubt more so in the sun.

Stunning, good choice on the colour, especially on a Targa.

I thought that was the PTS graphite grey at first then realised its green. Either way looks lovely, congratulations.

Just spoke to my dealer. All recently produced cars have a mandatory software update required and will not be formally registered until completed. I’ve been advised this could add an additional 2 weeks to delivery!

What's the software update related to? Must be pretty important if they're not willing to release cars until it is done. Is it Safety related?

I've been advised of something similar, that being that even though my car is at the dealership, they are not able to release it at present as Porsche have put a 'hold' on it for reasons the dealership didn't know at the time, and don't know the timescales involved either.

Hopefully its a matter of hours/days as opposed days/weeks.

I was told that it’s something to do with Porsche connect. Limited detail.

Indeed, hope you gents can get your cars soon and this doesn't cause any significant delays. Hopefully the software update is available and ready to be deployed and not something 'In development'.

Hmm, I wonder if they've found a security flaw that needs addressing.

Can anyone share photos of a guards red GTS? I know a couple of folks in here picked one up and it would be great to see more of them in different light shades.

I think it you do a search of used GTS's on the Porsche website there is a red one for sale (not sure if Targa or Coupe).

I did an auto trader search and couldn’t see a single one (not that there were 100s of them, probably about a dozen or a little more).

Will give Porsche a go.

Still no news on the Porsche 'Stop Campaign' which is currently holding up the release of my car frown

Is that what the official name is for the campaign? If so, I can email my dealer and see if he knows anything...
