How would you spec your 992 GTS?

Sorry, I don’t understand what you are meaning. The next one will likely be 15-18 months away, so the px figure on the current (992 Targa GTS) will be agreed shortly before that. Obviously it isn’t possible to agree a px figure now due to timescales and potential market fluctuations.
I’ve done the same. Order in for late 2023 delivery Turbo S Cab. I’ve had the GTS a month and I’m blown away by it. Real world great car. I’ll take my chances with residual when the next one arrives. Can’t see the GTS falling out of bed though ? julian987R said:

Has anyone gone for the 930 leather pack option?
Is that standard on the Turbo, with the ribbed leather seats and door cards? If so looked lovely on the Turbo I saw.Edited by APOLO1 on Wednesday 25th May 08:12
So the good news, I collected my car yesterday and she looks fabulous. The bad news, the dealer changed the spec after I ordered, omitted to tell me items were not available, and being a Brit in Germany, they also took the liberty of misleading me regarding what certain option codes included. The car isn’t as I planned it, with some daft choices having been made (such as ordering all the assist features separately rather than the innodrive pack I asked for). Thankfully, I smelled a rat 6 months ago and since then I have generated a long paper trail of emails. Better still verbal agreements count as valid in contract law over here and I took along a few people each time I visited the dealer just to be safe. I’m also on great terms with my lawyer, and soon my local Porsche dealer will be too.

Would love to see more pics!

Apolo1, there is currently a 992 targa GTS for sale st Top555 with the 930 leather pack so have a look at the advert pictures (or even go have a look in person)
Thanks for the heads up, I was aware of what the 930 leather is like I had it on a couple of 992 Turbo S, its very nice. It was just that I had not seen any spec it on Targa 4GTS yet, It was not available when i specked my current car. I note that the 555 car has Silver Centre Lock wheels think the darker stock ones suit the GTS better. APOLO1 said:

I agree on the alloys. I'm also not a massive fan of the 930 pack personally, as it is losing too much of the GTS feeling. I have full leather interior on mine (like you) but have racetex steering wheel, centre storage unit and visors, which makes it still feel about right to me (ie still maintains the GTS feel, but with the spec I wanted, ie full leather seats).Hobo said:

I know what you mean about the 930 pack, but I think it just adds a bit more to the trim. I agree on the leather seats I have seen cars with 4-5k on them that are used as daily cars with multiple drivers that have the GTS trim pack and seats look worn. I have also gone for the wheel and other Bits that you have in racetex. Just need to decide now on Signal Yellow, Jet Green, or Amethyst metallic.APOLO1 said:

Jet green, then signal yellow for me. Saw a GTS targa in amethyst and just didn’t like it (although love it on GT3’s). Saying that though, I think if we lived in a warmer place then I’d go yellow first all day long as would look epic in the sun.I’m torn between dark olive metallic (which is very dark, nearly black, but reflects green in the light) or black olive (which is more like a camoflague colour). Again, black alloys and hoop, and not sure on interior yet. To be honest my replacement will be late 2023 so miles off yet.

those are the 991.2 seats, not the 992, they have changed. Not sure if the 4 way and 18 way are different, but the 18 way 992 are different to the 991.2.I have the 18 way in my 991.2 and have specced the same in my 992, they are great, especially the extra leg support. Its what stopped me buying the Aston Vantage F1, couldn't extend the support under your legs, makes a big difference for me seating position.

I have signal Yellow arriving in July, not seen it in the flesh personally, getting excited though, sounds like I might be one of the first PTS cars.I’m torn between dark olive metallic (which is very dark, nearly black, but reflects green in the light) or black olive (which is more like a camoflague colour). Hi All, has anyone experienced no motorised steering wheel adjustment being supplied due to semi conductor shortage? I see some cars being delivered with manual adjustment.
Chinese owners claim installation of manual steering column is unfair and unwelcomehttps://global.chinadaily.com.cn/a/202205/16/WS628...

I’m sure it’s part of the 18 way seats. Just checked configurator and I don’t see it 😵💫Edited by FMR on Thursday 26th May 22:37

Yes, the electric steering column is part of the 18 way seat package. At least it’s supposed to be, my car was collected on Tuesday and I’ve been given manual adjustment due to the supply chain issue.
have they said they will upgrade it once there is availability, or is it just tough luck?Im assuming that also means that comfort entry and exit also doesnt work if theres no electric steering wheel adjustment?

I know what you mean about Jet Green looking good but lots of PTS on 992s now days seem to be shade of Green, had a another look at 930 leather option yesterday I agree it does not suit a GTS Targa, Amethyst is a stunning colour in the flesh, like signal yellow its very hard to capture in Pics. This Pic below of my RS seems very close to me of how Signal Yellow looks in real life. I think Signal Yellow just pips it, so will go with this for my next GTS Targa later in the year.
