Hi there I need to choose a colour for an upcoming build slot for a GT3 and I’ve narrowed it down to the following :

Amethyst Metallic

Dark Olive Metallic

Oak Green Metallic

Forest Green Metallic

I’m really struggling as the images of each individual colour can look so different in different OL images / Videos.

I’ve had paint downs made but again, it’s very difficult to imagine a whole car from this.

Basically, going round in circles smile

I was wondering that if anyone in the East Midlands has a 911 in any of these colours, if they’d be willing to let me very briefly see their car - if so please can you DM me - thanks smile

Amethyst:

Dark Olive

Oak Green

Forest Green

'Dark Olive' all day long for me.

Wanted me 992 GTS Targa in it, but unfortunately there were no PTS slots available without incurring a significant delay. Will probably look to get a gen 2 car in this colour.

Oak Green for me. Not sure this straw poll is going to help!

I like Dark Olive, maybe with gold wheels.

Some great colours. No duds. Unfortunately your images show the cars in different types of light so hard to give a pov.

Do you have the swatches (or whatever they’re called) next to each other in the same light? Ideally in a couple of different types.

Here are three - first in shade, last two are in light - however they don’t really look like this in reality - hence my issues with OL images / needing to see in the metal smile

Order left to right :

Amethyst / Dark Olive Metallic / Oak Green Metallic/ Forest Green Metallic

Still can’t understand why the entire front number is not painted? rather than a slab of plastic.

Agree - this is why, whatever colour I go, I’m going dark as you will hopefully “lose” some of the plastic

Just get the plastic painted body colour - simple.

Sure, but
1. why is it not like that by default
2. why do such a small % of owners opt for it?

got to be Dark Olive, however, i have Gone Oak Metallic green on my impending Taycan GTS

My 992 GT3 i went Nogaro Blue which works really well and is virtually the same as Club Blu

I think dark olive will work with the wing on a GT3 the rest. for me, are reserved for a Touring
