RSVP has your PTS slot been delayed at all?

My 2022 PTS GT3 build slot was bumped to next year.
I’m not sure tbh - I swapped a normal slot that I think I would have had by now for a PTS slot which they said could delay it up to 4-6 months, to which I said fine. They did say it had moved to 2023 now that you mention it, but also said that means it will still be in delivered in early Q3 this year - I don’t really get why a 2023 car is delivered in 2022 but I think that’s a “thing”

I’m glad I haven’t had to lock it in yet as I’m still non the wiser smile

It does look amazing in that light, but it can look either dark brown in the shade or a bit of an odd red when the light hits it in certain ways.

but whats with that enormous plastic front and back. I just don't get it...it looks half finished.
Its a track car, front end would get peppered with stones in no time. Same reason the splitters are not carbon like mclaren etc.

Doesn't matter, it was designed for it. I have seen a fair few on track to be fair.

OTOH this Dark Olive is rather stunning especially with Cognac interior
It is nice but I think that’s just “Olive”, I’d be going Dark Olive Metallic which is a different Olive

I was all good getting my Touring in Agate, as I love its dirty / earthy grey green colour, but this is making me seriously reconsider. Think my deadline is next month so a few more weeks to think…

Quick question on PTS. I just spec'd my Turbo S and was told PTS is not available. So is PTS very much model specific, or dealership specific?
At the minute it’s anyones guess. I read one post on the spyder FB group about a dealer making PTS mandatory for someone to order.

Lots of things available/ not available - PCCB’s / stereo upgrades etc… all down to various reasons given. BREXIT/ War/ Covid

Pts usually adds time to cars so perhaps there’s a scheduling and capacity decision that makes it unavailable for TTS
My mate's off to Germany next week to spec his PTS Turbo S (he's buying through JCT600) so it's definitely available. He was originally going for Rubystar Red but is looking at Maritime Blue and anything else they suggest. If Rubystar or Maritime, he's having the seat panels and door cards in corresponding colours of leather a la 964RS.

Theres PTS green GT3 with gold wheels in porsche Hatfield at the moment. Looks stunning .
Paul
Thanks Paul, I’m in the East Midlands - I wonder what Green it was ? smile
Really not sure, but it’s definitely one of the darker ones .Owner specked it so it matches one of his Hypercars.
I am sure if you phoned Hatfield they would tell you colour.

If he’s hoping rubystar looks anything like the 964 rubystone he’s going to be very disappointed

Why the hate for privacy glass?

911’s have quite a large glass:cabin ratio and it get flipping hot in no time at all.
Even my 993 has you sweating like a pig on the beach and the glazed area is a lot smaller than a 991/2

The aircon in your 993 is rubbish compared to the aircon in a 992.

Effective aircon is a better solution to the getting flipping hot problem than window tint.
