Hi, I've just picked up my first porker a 987 Boxster S. Can anyone explain how the running lights should work. I've set the computer to 'on' but it seems to me that all the main lights are on (front and rear) with the engine running. I was expecting that just the front LED lights would work similar to Audi's?

Thanks

What year? MIne's a 10 registered, and it doesn't have DRL's. As you say, setting the lights to "on" in the computer sets dipped head, and tail lights.

Mines an early 2010 too and does the same.

Seems like I might as well have the main dipped lights on all the time.

If you have the Xenons with washers then they operate like running lights on an Audi.

If not, then they are just used as sidelights only.

The setting on the computer is for headlights on all the time, just like a Volvo.
