I know one that is going to pop up for sale soon but I suspect it might not even reach the internet!

There was a Class D ex-insurance write-off on Autotrader when I checked at the weekend. I probably wouldn't, but the price didn't seem outlandish all things considered.

Just the Cat D one is the only manual available.
There is one in Hong Kong which would only be £750 to ship

Yep. Transportation. Plus VAT and customs duty. Plus compliance checks. Plus registration and tax.

It gets expensive

I'm planning to list mine for sale in the next week or so - did all the photos in the autumn and have been dithering about selling vs keeping for a few months. I've owned it for over 13 years (and 48k of it's 54k miles), so not an easy decision.

It's a manual in guards red with lots of good stuff like buckets, spyder alloys, and AC, so hopefully it won't hang around too long and make me change my mind again! I just need a nice day so I can give it a clean and make it look good for all the potential buyers wink

Thinking of selling my white manual R, with spyder alloys, carbon buckets, sport chrono, PSE and A/C currently on 31,000 miles, full service history OPC/specialist. Just had 12 year service and new condensers fitted. What do you guys think it is worth ? considering there are currently none in this spec for sale in the UK

Lovely spec
High 40's I'd say, North of £45K for sure.

I'd agree with high 40's if spec, condition, service history and mileage are all good. Which sound like it is based the above. R's are reasonably rare regardless, but good manual cars available for sale (with the desired spec items that many people look for) have been few and far between over the last few years.

Thanks for your inputs guys, really struggling with making a decision to put it up for sale, I’ve owned it 6 years and worried I will regret selling it. We’ll see, I’m sure when I put it back on the road and drive it in the spring I won’t want to sell it lol

I had the same thought last year when had a 4RS coming, people said was interested as all the right spec then only wanting to pay £38k!

Anyway I felt like I’d regret it, every time I drive it I can’t bring myself to sell it! I know I will regret it so it’s not gone anywhere

That sounds like a dream garage, an R and a GT4RS, well done managing to keep both of them

I sold a manual Cayman R with superb spec (extended leather, buckets, AC, correct wheels, etc) for mid 40s.

I’m sure owners will say that I sold too cheap but it’s a niche model and doesn’t necessarily have people lining up at close to £50k.

Sorry for the honesty!
