It's a Bosche unit I think and even direct from Bosche they are pricey enough (still half the price as Porsche as usual)

Thanks Andy. Yep if it is indeed that part that needs replacing then its a good £1000+
I do see reconditioned ones but unsure if that is a good idea. I'll see what Autofarm discover and update on the thread of what the outcome is.

I am lucky enough to have both a Meg and an R in the fleet. Proper fun on track together

thinking of updating my seat inserts. Came across these woven leather ones with a stripe...available in custom colour combos and with/without the rivet holes.

You may want to check Mr Placek’s prices before you get too enthusiastic ...
I’ve been following him on Insta for a while, and whilst there’s no doubting the quality of his work (it’s some of the best I’ve seen) he sure knows how to charge.

I’ve been following him on Insta for a while, and whilst there’s no doubting the quality of his work (it’s some of the best I’ve seen) he sure knows how to charge.

Yep I noticed that. Its 4,000 Euros for that material, though I am now getting the impression that that particular weave is only available in Red or Green.

i might opt for his Alcantara with a stripe like the GT seat inserts if you know which I mean - the wide and thin bands.
