Yes.
you mean NO !

Fitting non N spec does not affect the warranty unless Porsche can prove the non N spec tyre caused the fault, this of course would never happen.

What fitting a non OPC part does is NOT allow you to renew a warranty with them because they can choose the tick list needed for a warranty.

So the answer to the question above is NO imo not yes.
Fitting non N spec does not "invalidate the warranty" as the question is asked, but it does stop you renewing a Porsche warranty.
I agree with your sentiment, but, people take out a warranty for convenience/peace of mind. The Extended Warranty Contract is with Zurich (or it used to be?), not Porsche, thereby they impose the terms they wish. Why someone would take the peace of mind route, laying out big bucks for warranty, then potentially put themselves at risk by going against the conditions of that warranty, possibly having to 'go legal' to get a payout, doesn't make much sense? May as well swerve the warranty altogether and deal with the hassle of repairs yourself, if and when they arise?

I just thought my initial answer summed it up a bit more succinctly? smile

N0's are cheap now, I'm getting a new rear fitted tomorrow at OPC for £270, paid £340, 18 mths back.

To the OP, PLEASE do not get P Zero N0 - they are fairly rubbish (from personal experience).

GY F1 A2 were my choice all round. They are quieter than the P Zero N0, great grip, great in the wet. I'm 13k miles into them now and around 2mm wear so far.

The only approved tyre I'd consider would be the new PS4S but it's not around for another month or so in 20".

My GYs cost £626 for 4 x 20"...

...delivered to my (trusted) tyre retailer who fitted them for £15 a tyre.
