Why not try a good independent. Some of them are better value for money. Try Autofarm for example.

Hmm. I’ve a big service coming up next month and would prefer fixed price... It sounds like I should forget Reading and Guildford (Porsche network) and so that leaves Swindon (for SE) ?
I purchased my last two cars from Swindon and up until last year had the servicing carried out there. Last year I received a reminder that the car was due it’s service and informed incorrectly that the air con should be drained and regassed at the same time, I queried this and the service advisor insisted that it was in line with Porsche’s recommendation - which it isn’t. Misleading intentionally to get more money or lack of correct info from the service dept? Unforgivable either way IMO. Anyway, had the servicing carried out at Portsmouth which I found both more friendly and efficient, as well as being much closer. I thoroughly recommend them. Mid Sussex in Burgess Hill are also very good, not used them myself but know several who have and they’ve been very happy with them - one whom had appalling treatment from Guildford!

I find it unbelievable that the same company that publishes the “fixed” price pricelist on their own National PCGB website don’t actually offer those prices themselves, theirs are actually higher...something extremely dodgy about the whole thing. Possibly anti competitive behaviour & blatant taxation of the stupid.
This, I too find it almost unbelievable that Porsche Retail Group, whom are owned by Porsche, do not honor the schemes that are advertised on their Porsche GB web-site!!

£470 (Inc brake fluid) over 2 years is nothing. Even les if you provide the oil.

They don't change the air filter but they change the pollen filter and the oil filter obviousy. As well as give the car a general check over and a stamp in the book. Dont forget the loan car for a couple of days.

I'd say that's relatively cheap for a sports car! When you compare to other marques with a £150-200 per yearly service, it almost seems a bargain.

Minor service includes:
•Fault code analysis
•Replacement of pollen filter
•Replacement of oil filter and engine oil using Mobil 1 oil
•Provision of one litre Mobil 1 top-up pack
•Inspection of: vehicle underside and engine compartment, coolant hoses, coolant (level and antifreeze check), radiator, air intake, brake system, brake hoses and lines, drive shafts, tyres, locks and latches, electrical equipment, horn, windscreen wiper washing system, power steering and fluid level check and lighting system (including headlights and indicators)
•Final test drive to check all major safety, comfort and mechanical systems for effective operation followed by final post-drive fluid level check
so an oil change and pollen filter that's it as I stated :-) £500 we have a different view on what a bargain is
Yes and even after the major service I was told at the next service it needed the drive belt and air filter changing on the 6 year or 60k miles rule.... I thought at least air filter would have been done on the major service! It's amazing how little they actually do. It seems the main time goes into the 101 point check to try and generate some more revenue for themselves. It seems we are paying for Oil and a stamp in the book grumpy
