After a 21 month waiting I collected today my GT4RS, it was a dual delivery with a friend of mine, he collected his 992 T, we didn't inform our inited friends it was a dual delivery, we only told them about the T

So the surprise was mega, we had a lot of fun, it was just superb. Some pics for impression;

OMG that is absolutely stunning ! The yellow accent pack and brakes contrast nicely with the PTS Green, Oak Green Metallic ?

^ Yes, PTS Oak Green Metallic, Yellow accents and stitching, Yellow PCCB, it looks really magnificent !!

Stunning if I may say.

1st driving impressions;

It is so sharp, so direct, the steering, the breaking, gas-respons, the sound.

Flabbergasted overhere.

Its a really special Porsche. Still hasn't quite sunk in how Porsche managed to engineer such a monster with the constraints of today's over zealous eco-mad bureaucrats.

It was a 60km drive from the OPC to my house, autobahn mostly, the road compliance is just freaking bizar good, it flows along the road (i must admit the roads in my country the Netherlands do have superior quality, German roads ar nowhere that good)

The sound changes directly on gas input, the shifts are from another world, the classical dash layout is just eye candy that does not exist anymore.

I don't know how to put it, but the drive, just the first kms of driving made absolutely clear what this car is all about, it is the best I have ever driven, it is far far superior over my previous 718 GT4.

The statement this cars makes, even in the first driven kms`s, is just unbelievable.

Sounds great Romo, looks great as well, nice color, I guess first you have to drive it in a dew 100km or so and after that you can make it scream till your ears bleed aka JC in Top Gear biggrin

^Thanks (to all) for all kind words !

Just returned of a 50 km country side road tour, B roads. If anybody thought this car wouldn't`t be good for B road driving, well I have some bad news for you; this car can do it brilliantly. I is utterly composed, road compliance bar none, in 'D" the revs are kept fairly low, the sound is nice, you can listen to your favorite radiostation, or MP3 player, or your telephone, what ever you like.

But if you tap on the gas, or shift back some gears, well; the monster awakens :-) A kind of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde behavior so to speak.

If the beast is unleashed, this is a car on steroids, on adrenaline; a car on edge if you want it to be !!

It is both capabel of touring and do some circuit days, just magnificent imho.

It's a full on sportscar and meant to be noisy and in a good way. If you want to make business calls in your car get a hush chauffeur driven .stretch limo. I love mine to bits and the most exciting modern Porsche I've driven.. Sensory overload !!
Souds like your mate is already making excuses to flip it.

Main reason to flip it is its a auto.
