Can't understand why black calipers are specced especially at extra cost?
I have an aversion to red/green "Christmas Tree" spec wink

Fair point didn't realise you went green.

The red calipers with green would undoubtedly be more acceptable than red stitching though. biggrin:

Depends your use of the car but concur with Twinfan on the buckets and carbon.

Gentian is ok but a non GT colour and probably the most specced colour on the GT4 so there will be loads around.

Being a dark colour it looks good especially with silver wheels black not so good.

Climate chrono and extended leather all good options.

Clubsport expensive as are ceramics on a GT4.
Thanks for your help. Latest spec is PMZDPSL6 and going with Python. Was only supposed to spec to £85k!! Anything worth removing to keep the cost down without impacting resale?

I'd drop the light design package, folding mirrors and BOSE if you want to save cash, but that'll only save you £1254.

Python and buckets are pushing your price up most.

Like I say it depends what your use of the car is and how long you are keeping it.

Cruise Bose Speed limiter Auto dim and light design pack do little to enhance value.

The external light upgrade is expensive relative to any added value unless you do alot of night driving.

Personally, I'd drop the following:

- Light Design Package
- Folding mirrors
- Auto dimming mirrors
- Park assist with camera for standard park assist
- Speed limit indicator (sat nav does this)
- Bose

Consider swapping the Carbon trim for "Brushed Aluminium in anthracite", free option, but some people much prefer the carbon. smile. All that would save you a princely £2769. (Don't forget the first year road tax they don't include on the configurator ~£1600).

Thank you Twinfan. Think I will keep it as is and at least it’s my dream car! Could change the colour but Python will be rarer and I had specced that on the GTS originally. Has anyone taken delivery of a Python GT4 yet?

Yep, there it is, thanks. They used to include the ROTR price but have changed to RRP I think?

Yea I got the OTR shock when I specced mine.
I went for buckets and clubsport. It comes with many things standard so did not feel the need to add more for essentially a WE / track car.

Thank you, I will cut some of these options and get the price down. I will be using this car for weekends and unlikely to track much. Could take a GTS but GT4 will be rarer. Anyone know if PDK is available yet?

If you can get one for list I’d say the GT4 will hold its value better. (probably, I’m not an authority on that).

Have you sat in the 918 bucket seats? If you get a chance and decide they’re not for you, go for the GTS with the 18 ways, rather than put the 18 ways in the GT4.

PDK isn’t available yet; so I was told. Would have to wait until Post January, and then you could be looking at a possible hard brexit surcharge (~£10k).

It will still be a lot of car if you spec to £90k and its best to have the car you want particularly if you buy with the intention of keeping.
Mine came out at £96k plus1st yr road tax £2070 and 1st reg fee £55
My spec PLKN7JG0 and I'm quite happy with the car, Mine was an early car and I would have preferred it if less people had followed my paint colour but guess it is popular as the majority think it looks good. I sure do smile

I have a Boxster GTS on order for December delivery but a friend of mine has just cancelled his GT4 order so going to take that instead.

Always wanted a soft top but think this is a better buy in terms of residuals.

Are there any must have options on the GT4? Think I will go Python green.
I like comment about residuals then you spec python green? Its a marmite colour and you will limit your buying market when you come to sell .yes an opc will take it but at trade values.
They are having trouble selling the release colours of the 718 lava orange and miami blue.
The yellow 981 gts on sale at a dealer took ages to sell and was reduced quite a bit.
If its a keeper then no worries.

Wow that’s a stunning spec Geoff! Car looks amazing! Here is my final code PM1MNVG3 after making some cuts. It’s a November build for December delivery.
