What do you think?

25th anniversary edition. Based on the 4.0 GTS.

Personally not a fan of silver/gold combo (available in black or white also). Unique wheels and colour coding, but rest looks options special. I’m sure it will be collectible down the line.

The other release pics featured original 986 and I think it really has aged very well.

Already a thread on this... somewhere I think. First I’ve seen of it. Seems a bit... I dunno. Average?

Only 1250 worldwide will mean it will sell fast for sure and appear on the used market at silly prices lol

I quite like the wheels, very 90s style design, if only they had put Spyder / GT4 front bumper on it.

Wheels looks great . Red interior is marmite, but can have black .
The front and side air intakes in gold look naff.
Nothing special from a well specced normal car apart from some badges and that special fuel cap. biggrin

Prefer the gold (copper) with the black. Though later down the line, sticking with launch combo is usually better.

If you were about to go for a GTS anyway, this would seem to make sense.

So the million dollar question is this or a 718 Spyder?

Be interesting to see how many allocated to the Uk.
The gts is popular in the states so they might get a fair chunk of them?

And stter.

Spyder every time, for the chassis alone.

My GTS 4.0 Boxster is pre-ordered.
Now this 25 anniversary edition comes up.
Both look great, I wonder which one's going to keep its value considerable better.

The regular GTS 4.0 Boxster will depreciate as normal, this could well appreciate.

But unless you have bought loads of Porsches from your dealer whatis the chance of getting one anyway?

They reckon only around 100 coming to the UK.
Reckon that equals depreciation free motoring?
