Boxster 25 Edition

I think it will May when it arrives - June latest.

Asked my opc again today and still no build slots been given to his Porsche centre
He thinks the first b25 will,start to arrive June maybe late may. So build slots given in the next couple of weeks maybe

My OPC has just had virtually all their March build slots pushed back into April, I wouldn’t bank on any Boxster 25s arriving this summer. My 718 Spyder went into build on the 20th of January and latest build completion date is the 2nd of April.

Be strange if the boxster 25th edition arrives in the 26th year

It’s got the same engine as the GTS which seems to be causing some issues atm so I’m not sure if that will delay any deliveries.

I had a call with my OPC yesterday and while he said we've got one allocated we've still not got a build number so its a waiting game for us. I did ask about swapping back to a GTS and the estimate for that was sometime next year.

Same here. Complete silence beyond confirmation of the allocation. I note that COVID is having a bonanza in Germany too which can’t be helpful. As soon as I receive a confirmation, I’ll post on this thread.

Id have a look on the other threads, all cars on sale stop with a possible engine issue , could mean an engine replacement .

Happened to me this week. I was due to collect my gt4 today. But alas. It’s been stopped due to the con rods issue so I’ve had my deposit back

Nice to have that option L. Len. I wouldn’t want a car that’s had major surgery on it, but to start again with a new order if I didn’t have a backup like you would be heartbreaking.

Meanwhile, I’ve ordered another Boxster 25 which should be delivered in under 1 week from order:

Have you not got a spec-lock date or anything yet? Timelines from locking in the spec to build is about 3-4 weeks say, then a further 3-4 weeks for delivery to dealer so let's say 8 weeks from the point you lock it in.

Could be late summer at this rate for you boys, I locked in my Spyder last week and I've been told to expect it in June.

No nothing. My opc just says he will call me when he gets the build slot confirmed.

Did you have to buy a 1:43 Minichamps Cayenne, Panamera and 911 before being able to put a deposit down?!

Very nice. There’s something satisfying having matching model car!
