Just been talking to someone who is interested in my exhaust, he has a friend who works for Porsche in Stuttgart and they are saying the 4RS is the best GT car to date.In my opinion , it will be a better road car being mid engined.

An early mule of the 4RS was spotted by a prominent Rennlister as few years back to before the release of the 718 GT4.. so would have been the 981 mule that AP referenced here... psst wanna know how porsche cayman gt4 rs came about, and his opinion was that is was going to the best thing out of Weissach, better thad than GT2 RS, 935 at were also just launched or about to launch at the time.

Well I hope we get to find out how good it is in all scenarios, but by the way it is sounding, they are going to be as rare as hens teeth and prob will go into storage and unused which will be such a shame.

Once they see the prices north of £500K are being asked, maybe (as discussed above) they could hit £800K+, then I doubt these owners will be thrashing them anymore.

£200K.
wont sell, but thats what the Amari types will chance their arm at.
I’d say it will be more like £230k to £250k well specified
yep I'd agree 100%
I don’t mean 230k to 250k overs mind, I mean selling flipped price of earth cars.

Last time I asked my opc they confirmed only one build slot to date which is allocated.

i think once the 911 fans realise this is as good as it gets and far surpasses its big brother Gt3, then it will be Thunderdome on used prices and they'll rocket way higher than expected.

There is an awful lot that can be done with a humble 981 GT4 ...

Porsche aren't the only people who can make a GT4RS ... and if it's pace on track that proves the point, there's a lot of fun to be had in the learning !

Otherwise, what will we do when the driverless GT4 is faster that the fastest human in a GT4RS ?

Let's face it, any GT4 is already too fast for most roads ...

I find talk of the unobtanium so tedious ... sorry !

Far surpasses its bigger brother? On what basis?

I have little doubt that the 4RS will be more fun to drive on road than the GT3, but doubt that it will be as fast on track, the GT3 has to much tech on it. It will be a shame if used car do come onto the market with so few cars around. I know for sure that the ones that I know that are getting one will be tracking their cars, one has already ordered spare set of none Mag wheels for his WP car.

Yep, more can be done with a GT4 in pursuit of driving nirvana.

you better believe it smile
Well, that is one of what i expect to be many selling points that woo the 911 fans. Once the Carfections and the like start doing their reviews i feel the reviews will be that the sister has punched her big brother for six.
