Just spotted that the ex-RBR (Remove Before Race) SRS has had its number plate removed from the listing, and "SOR" put in it's place, suggesting its still his and actually on sale or return. So in this market not even the big hitting influencers are getting offers from OPC's for their cars...

I went to look at that car when it first came up for sale. It was always SOR, perhaps the original ad didn't reflect that (perhaps his private plate has now been removed from the car)... It was literally on sale a few days then immediately had a stop-sale (the morning I went to view it) due to it being in the centre lock bad batch. Either it's now been repaired (must be one of the first if so), or they have a decent ETA on new parts for it to be advertised so soon. They were adamant they couldn't even advertise it for sale while it had the recall issued.

At risk of going into full tart mode I wonder what the black one would look like with red wheels????
Maybe just a tasteful red highlight around the rim instead?
You might be onto something there, like my old 275CupS in fact. Good shout.

So , I’m well past run in now , which I didn’t expect I’d get anywhere near when it turned out to be a Oct car , so that’s a great bonus .It may just be as I haven’t driven one for a while but this feels a bit stronger than my last 991.2 GT3 ( manual ) particularly in 2nd/3rd around the 7k + band . Maybe down to gearing more than anything else . Very happy so far . Maybe the last drive before the salt tomorrow…..

That is gorgeous - I much prefer the frunk lid fully painted, like this.

Totally agree, I’ve specced it on mine… Each to their own mind.

The Guards Red is my old Spyder RS. I did 2600 miles in it including some of the Nc500. I never once on a drive wish I had specced lift. It will be a great buy for the next person

Tempted on going for one or these nearly new GT4SRS now that it has come down to below list. But at that price, it is also around 488 spyder price. Decisions decisions decisions

I missed my 992 GTS too much which it had replaced. So back in a 992 now. If I could have afforded to have kept it I would have done.

I'd be interested in a comparison between the two, is your GTS a cabriolet and are you tempted by the .2 GTS?

There's nothing quite like a 911 is there, my Cayman R was amazing, nice to be back in a 911 though.

A 992 GTS is a great car in its own right, but I don’t quite see how the ownership experience can be compared to a SRS, they are totally different cars with opposing characteristics.

I bought a 992 Carrara S cab last year and it left me feeling numb. Of course it was perfectly engineered but was overweight a bland with zero drama appeal. I only kept it 6 months and bought a 488 Spyder instead which some would say suffers the same issues a 992 does vs 991 as it does vs a 458. But there is some magic in a 488 just like there is in a SRS, spades more than in a 992 GTS. IMHO of course.
