Be interesting seeing whether the SRS will be subject to the 8 to 10% yearly upswing in prices experienced by the 981 and 718 Spyders along with many cabs on the first signs of a 'heatwave' Spring into Summer.

If this is the worst of it, when Spring ‘25 arrives purses will open again, like every year.
I don’t think so , if anything things are going to get worse next year. Prices didn’t pick up if at all spring/summer 2024 if not falling from 2023 end.
But hey what do I know, I was banging on about a falling market 18 months ago where we have seen the likes of. 718 gt4s go from £120k to £85k in that period!
But some on here are still convinced prices are on the up lol!
And as this is the SpyderRS post the problem is they are making so many and the market is not big enough to support sales so prices of used will get squeezed further. The original and imho the best Spyder(987) fell almost to 50/60% of its new price in first 3 years settling at about 75% for the last 5-8years and there’s only about 200 of those!

The one certainty is the value from using these things. They are just things, but what we can do with them feels very special. I for one am looking forward to 2025 ... without this I might not ... so much.

Did make me laugh has this has been pretty much that type of buying demographic of the specials over last 5 years, Always said why do some buy so many same same cars? Flippers? Most of us would be happy with one special Porsche.
Well the tide is turning and if the latest government keeps it up a £100K SRS is not far down the track lol

I didn’t understand Carl’s comment.
“The guy that buys a Spyder RS can afford the whole catalogue, but no you still want a Boxster….why does he want the Boxster? “Because of the way the slip diff works”…oh fu(k off…… why does he want a Boxster ya know, just move on just move on?!”

I’d have thought it was fairly clear
Mid engine’d, open top, GT product, NA, 9000rpm thing.
Where else do you get that?

Usual story reckon he is just trying to be radical for effect and typifying the stereotypical guff and overall snobbery normally associated with the Cayster v the 911.

He probably hasn't even driven a 4 RS or Spyder so won't know how great they are......thats his loss nobody elses.

If those people did just a smidge of homework they might conclude it's an underpriced mid engine'd 911....

I think he means Spyder RS is car give you supercar feel, however is too predictable, and the price is too stable for his business. don't take it too serious

I thought his story of a schoolboy car dealer was great and his car knowledge is unquestioned, but he’s turned into a self righteous see you next Tuesday… I’d also wager he isn’t sober in this interview.

His brother Tom is another story, class.

Sensible price, but it would make you wonder how hard it’s been thrashed by the uk press….

Can’t see these YouTubers being gentle with a RS press car.
