My 718GT4 failed one side over the summer and remained in the normal PASM setting used it for another c200 miles OPC fixed it the following week and no further issues since.
Then had a big bust up with the OPC as their hunter machine was well out of spec and they wouldn't accept it from a peasant like me. Spoiler alert. It was!

Quite bizarre the OPCs won't allow both sides to be done simulateneously whilst the frame is down but there you go!
On the Hunter as usual I've found the set up is only as good as the operator doing the geo.
Nope this was a faulty machine. They had it running at least 2 weeks with the front going half a degree out on toe. We had a reading from Dick Lovett when I bought the car and from my own machine and proved to them it was wrong. They did it incorrectly twice once on each mount.
I thought you had sold your GT4 and had a GT4RS?

Just had the 4 year biggie and renewed warranty. Its a manual which I prefer so may well keep it with a 25 RS.I thought you had sold your GT4 and had a GT4RS?

Thankfully no PADM on 718RS.
Its a completely different mount as per 992 GT3
Thank goodness for that, very common problem on GT4, parts took a month to arrive for ours last summer due to numbers failing & as mentioned previously they only repair 1 knowing the other will fail, usually shortly afterwards. Its a completely different mount as per 992 GT3
Had mine for geo set up last week , cambers from new were out with a difference across the front , so it’s defo worth taking a look .
I was never looking for a track set up as my car will be fast road use only and touring so I don’t want it twitching all over, as people have said you are limited to what you can do so basically ended up lowering the car and increasing the camber all round and adjusting the toe . Unfortunately will be spring before I get to try properly to see the difference but has to be improved on what it came standard .

I'm hearing reports of a second wave of centre-lock recalls (stop-drive) being issued over the last few days, so worth checking the app folks!
Some were told their cars were safe during the first round, end of October, and now being recalled. At least one car I know of is April '24 delivered, and only purchased end of October when this all kicked off originally. I'd be mighty miffed if I bought a car on the assurance it was safe given the recall, only to have it recalled later, especially if part of the decision to buy was that it was a 'safe one'! Surely Porsche should have been more not less cautious in the first place given the severity of the recall.
Am scanning the app daily now, mine is an 05/24 car, not that dates are the deciding factor, but be interesting to hear if anyone here newly affected.

I guess my concern was that I know of at least one particular owner (not personally) who was only informed a day or so ago. If the data regarding parts used hasn’t changed then it’s worrying that this owner wasn’t contacted some other way (he might’ve been sat on an unread in-app notification for all I know) at the end of October when original notifications went out.
Hopefully a non-thing as you say…
